Here are our best tips to make sure you are photo and show ready!

EXTERIOR

  • Powerwash siding, gutters and any furniture as necessary
  • Clean all exterior lights and ensure they are free of any spider webs, bugs and debris
  • Neatly roll and store garden hoses and sprinklers
  • Lawns should be well manicured and free of leaves, sticks, weeds and animal waste
  • Add fresh mulch or rock if needed
  • Store all pool equipment
  • Remove all furniture covers
  • Remove childrens toys
  • Blow or sweep off walkways, patios, decks and driveways
  • Remove any empty planters or items that can cause clutter

INTERIOR

  • Replace any burnt out light bulbs
  • Remove welcome mats and runner rugs
  • Declutter and clear off coat racks, key hangers, etc
  • Fresh neutral paint is best
  • Shelves, desks and tables organized and cleared of clutter, mail and other papers
  • Remove personal or religious items
  • Clear kitchen countertops with the exception of one item, such as coffee maker
  • Clear refrigerators of any magnets, pictures and flyers
  • Wipe down all kitchen appliances , purge cabinets, drawers and pantry
  • Clear bathroom countertops completely. This means no plastic soap dispensers, toothbrushes, medications, etc
  • Remove extra toilet paper rolls, toilet brushes and plungers
  • Remove dirty bathroom and kitchen towels- leave out only fresh unused towels (preferably white)
  • Remove all bathroom and kitchen floor mats
  • Clear showers of all soaps and personal items- a shower caddy works great to stow away daily
  • Remove all clutter from nightstands and dressers
  • Always use fresh full set of bedding
  • Store away phone/tablet charging cables and remote controls
  • Consider packing away any off season clothing
